I was fortunate to win a Factor grant to have two of my demos, “Half A Chance” and “She’s Not the Only One” featuring the vocal talents of Neil Donell, (who by the way, is now lead vocalist for the touring group “Chicago”), released under the name, The Maxx Bros. and recorded in Toronto at Inceptions Sound produced by Chad Irschick (The Rankins, Rita MacNeil and others). The two songs were released across Canada and both songs received extensive airplay from coast to coast. I still think the songs hold up quite well and am very proud of my accomplishment. It is pretty cool to hear your songs on the radio in between Hall and Oates and Phil Collins!
